Zamir has a holistic approach to physical therapy treatment, taking into account each patient's history, specific impairments, personal goals, and lifestyle to create an individualized treatment plan. His practice philosophy combines utilizing safe and effective manual techniques followed by exercise and patient education. He places a strong emphasis on restoring proper movement patterns to optimize body mechanics and body positioning. Zamir has extensive experience with general orthopedics, geriatric populations, and amputee rehabilitation. He also specializes in high level sport performance and injury prevention rehab for a variety of athletes, including MMA fighters, yoga practitioners, triathletes, and CrossFit athletes.
Zamir is a strong believer in continuing education, with certifications in Level I and II dry needling. He is currently pursuing an Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS) certification, and Certified Manual Physical Therapy (CMPT) certification.
Zamir is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association, as well as the Orthopedic Section. He is also an active Jiu Jitsu competitor of the International Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Federation.
