Tony was born and raised in Roanoke, VA where he completed his undergraduate degree from Jefferson College of Health Sciences (now known as Radford University Carilion) in Respiratory Therapy in 2016. While working in ICUs and acute care at UVA Medical Center and Lewis Gale Medical Center, he gained a strong background in cardiopulmonary treatment, airway clearance, oxygen and mechanical ventilation management. He also went on to obtain the Registered Respiratory Therapist Adult Critical Care Specialist (RRT-ACCS) certification.
He later obtained his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Murphy Deming College of Health Sciences (affiliated with Mary Baldwin University) in Fishersville, VA in 2023. Tony has experience working with conditions and patients in many realms; From musculoskeletal injuries and post-surgical rehab, to neurological injuries such as spinal cord injury and traumatic brain injury. His mission is to overcome challenges, unlock new potential and learn new skills/knowledge to help serve people of all backgrounds and ages to have a healthy and fulfilling life. He believes in providing evidence-based treatment with patient specific goals in mind to deliver optimal therapy. He plans to explore more fields of PT such as aquatic therapy, ai chi, performing arts, dry needling and more.
He enjoys spending his free time listening to music, attending live concerts and shows, playing pickleball/squash, practicing dance choreography, strength training, traveling and indulging in delicious food.
