Lauren graduated form The University of Virginia in 2009 with a degree in Kinesiology with a concentration in Sports Medicine. She went on to receive her Doctorate in Physical Therapy at The George Washington University in Washington D.C. in 2013. Lauren has been practicing throughout Northern Virginia in a variety of outpatient settings with a treatment approach focused on utilizing manual techniques, patient education and therapeutic exercises to help patients quickly return to daily and recreational activities. She strives to empower her patients to take an active role in treatment and improves success by instilling patients with a better understanding of how their unique experiences impact overall recovery.
Lauren is an advocate for evidence-based practice and furthering ones skills as a practitioner. She is a recognized Orthopedic Certified Specialist (OCS) by the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties and is a Certified Myofascial Trigger Point Therapist.
