Julia was raised in Guilford, Connecticut and completed her undergraduate degree from the University of Connecticut in Allied Health Science in 2012. She obtained her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of Rhode Island in 2015. Since graduating, Julia has worked in Washington D.C. in the outpatient orthopedic setting. She has experience working with a musculoskeletal injuries, sports medicine, and geriatric populations. She enjoys working with recreational athletes and post operative patients.
Julia obtained certification in Myofascial Trigger Point Dry Needling in 2018 from Myopain Seminars. She also pursued further training in orthopedic physical therapy, gaining her Board-Certified Orthopaedic Clinical Specialization in 2020. She believes in providing evidence-based treatment to help her patients meet their goals. Julia plans to further her training in manual therapy and vestibular rehabilitation through continuing education
Outside of the clinic, Julia enjoys hiking, basketball, weight training, and painting.
