Brittiny Wolfe

Brittiny is a multi-faceted PT with extensive experience in working with the tactical athlete (military personnel, industrial employees, law enforcement, etc). She earned her BS in Community Health in 2013, her MS.Ed. in Exercise Science in 2017, and her DPT in 2022.

Prior to becoming a physical therapist, Brittiny worked as a health fitness specialist for the US Air Force (USAF), and as a tactical strength and conditioning trainer with the US Marine Corps (USMC) High Intensity Tactical Training (HITT) Center. In both of her roles with the USAF and USMC, she was responsible for developing, implementing, and adapting training sessions specifically geared towards combat readiness as well as educating active duty on formal training principles by the National Strength & Conditioning Association (NSCA), American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM), and USA Weightlifting (USAW). Brittiny has been able to draw upon her first career to bolster her practice as a clinician who treats the entire person in the context of their life, and not just the dysfunction they may present with. She has been able to apply these skills to various clinical settings including inpatient, outpatient, and industrial rehabilitation.

In addition to her professional endeavors, Brittiny herself is a lifelong athlete, from her time as a D1 track and field athlete in undergrad, to her recreational involvement in salsa dancing, cycling, Olympic lifting, and rock climbing. With this mosaic background, Brittiny has worked with a myriad of orthopedic injuries and understands the disruptive tole they can take on a patient’s life. She is specially equipped to develop an individualized plan of care to maximize therapeutic outcomes, as well as bridge the gap between training for rehabilitation and training for performance.
