Ben Fuentes

Ben Fuentes

Ben Fuentes joined Bodies in Motion Physical Therapy in 2017. He received his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Emory University in 2016. He has clinical experience treating a variety of sports medicine injuries, having worked with collegiate athletes, high school athletes, and weekend warriors. While in school and during his clinical internships, Ben developed a passion for manual therapy, spine orthopedics, concussion management, prevention screening, and treating the endurance athlete. He has a special interest in continuing his education in manual therapy and concussion management.

Ben’s treatment philosophy is based on treating the body as a whole. During treatment, he emphasizes restoring function using manual therapy techniques with other modalities, including dry needling and kinesiotape.  He complements these treatments with exercises that will target patients’ goals.

Ben was born and raised in Northern Virginia. His passion for soccer took him from playing with the DC United Youth Team to playing Division I soccer at Radford University, where he earned his Bachelor of Science in Exercise Sport and Health Education in 2011.

In his free time, Ben enjoys spending time with his wife, his new son, and their dogs. He also enjoys playing soccer, basketball, and relaxing with family and friends.
