Meet Liza Maciorowski
Liza grew up in Woodbridge, VA and graduated with her Bachelor of Arts from the University of Virginia (Wahoo-wa!). After working for several years, she decided to pursue a career in the medical field. She worked as an aide in a physical therapy clinic in Williamsburg, Virginia and then in Colorado Springs, Colorado and knew that she had found the field for her. Liza received her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the University of Colorado in 2016 and practiced in Hawaii in an outpatient clinic before relocating to Virginia with her husband’s Army career.
Liza enjoys treating patients across the lifespan. She has experience in both outpatient orthopedics and neurology, including vestibular conditions. She believes in treating every patient as a whole person, and she uses manual therapy and exercise to help her patients reach their health goals. She continues to advance her knowledge and skills through continuing education courses to provide the best, most evidence-based treatments for her patients.
In her free time, Liza enjoys spending time with her husband, their two young children, and their two dogs. She has completed two marathons and looks forward to training for another one soon.
