Meet Jennifer Linn
Jennifer Linn (DPT) received her undergraduate degree in Human Nutrition, Foods and Exercise from Virginia Tech in 2005. She continued her education at the University of Florida, pursing a Doctorate of Physical Therapy, which she received in May 2008.
While at the University of Florida, Jennifer published a case study in the November 2008 edition of Orthopaedic Physical Therapy Practice titled “The Use of a Modified Treatment Based Classification System to Treat an Adolescent with Imaging Evidence of a Herniated Disc.” Jennifer is interested in a variety of patient populations from pediatrics to general outpatient orthopedics.
Jennifer has been practicing at the Falls Church Bodies in Motion location since 2008. Jennifer’s approach to patient care consists mainly of manual therapy techniques with a direct hands-on approach with re-enforcement through therapeutic exercise. Recently, she received her trigger point dry needling education and has added this valuable tool to her treatment. Currently, Jennifer is actively pursuing a manual physical therapy certification in order to further expand her treatment offerings.
Outside of the clinic, Jennifer is active in a variety of sports including soccer and basketball. She also has strong interest in weightlifting, running and cycling.
