Meet Ashlee Kim
Ashlee grew up in Chantilly, VA and received her Bachelor of Science from James Madison University. After graduation, she worked as a PT aide in various settingsincluding outpatient neurology clinics and outpatient orthopedic clinics. She received her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Duke University (go Blue Devils!). Since then, she has been actively expanding her knowledge-base to expand her treatment offerings to maximize each plan of care for her patients. She completed a six day competency-based training course in vestibular rehabilitation, expanding her patient population to those struggling with vertigo, dizziness, and imbalance. She also received training to provide dry needling as treatment to assist soft tissue function and recovery. Ashlee’s professional goals include pursuingher COMT and SCS.
Ashlee enjoys working with post-operative patients, patients suffering from acute and chronic pain, collegiate athletes, post-concussion patients, patients with vestibular impairments, and patients in need of functional retraining due to work injuries. She enjoys creating healthy relationships with her patients throughout the rehabilitative process and focuses on balancing both personal, professional, and medical goals to maximize patient recovery, success, and overall mobility.
Outside of work, Ashlee enjoys spending time with her friends and family, traveling, building LEGOS, watching movies, and playing with her dog Charlie.
